FIELD: earth moving machinery; quarry excavators.

SUBSTANCE: according to invention logic OR gate is placed in right-hand and left-hand track electric drive, each consisting of series-connected master signal master controller, voltage regulator, current regulator, converter and motor supplied by converter, current sensor and voltage sensor. Threshold element and resistance step changing element are introduced additionally into each drive according to first design version. Output of current sensor of each drive is connected through threshold element to input of logic OR gate at output of which two resistance step changing elements are connected being placed in feedback circuit of voltage regulator. According to second design version, switch, first and second threshold element are introduced. Output of voltage sensor of each drive is connected to input of logic OR gate through first threshold element. Two switches are connected to output of OR gate, each being connected through second threshold element to voltage regulator of each drive. According to third design version, device is furnished with switch, first and second threshold elements. Output of voltage sensor of each drive is connected through first threshold element to input of logic OR gate to output of which two switches are connected, each being connected through second threshold element to current regulator of each drive.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of movement of excavator owing to increase of maximum torque at speeds higher than nominal one without increasing electric drive motor power relative to occupied volume.
