CONTROL DEVICE OF EXCAVATOR TRAVEL MOTION MECHANISM ELECTRIC DRIVE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; construction machinery. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of electric drives. According to invention, electric drives of left-hand and right-hand tracks are furnished with current and voltage regulators, threshold element, switch and voltage limiter. Current sensor in each electric drive is connected with motor and is connected to input of OR gate through threshold element. Outputs of OR gate are connected through switch of each electric drive to voltage limiter and to input of master controller. Output of master controller is connected to input of converter through series-connected voltage and current regulators. EFFECT: improved maneuverability and increased speed, simplified circuits of device with use of motor speed control above nominal value by increasing voltage across motor armature to value higher than nominal one and automatically transferring speed working point from one control zone to the other. 1 dwg
