FIELD: mining, oil and gas producing industries.

SUBSTANCE: is designed for lifting liquids from wells. In proposed well sucker-rod pumping unit containing well pump installed in tubing string in cylinder of which plunger is arranged coupled with string of hollow rods connected in tandem by detachable connectors, vacuum or gas-filled spaces insulated from each other are formed in each hollow sucker rod of string. Sucker rods are made of metal with low specific weight, for instance, of high strength aluminum or titanium alloys with surfaces protected from corrosion. Inner spaces of hollow sucker rods contains tight plugs rigidly secured on ends of hollow sucker rods to form adapters by means of which hollow sucker rod is connected with detachable connectors. Hollow sucker rods are provided with charging devices to fill inner spaces with gas under pressure. Charging device is arranged in lower part of hollow sucker rod, and stopper is installed at inlet of charging device for removing when inner spaces are being filled with gas. Making of pumping unit with sucker rods of small specific weight owing to correct choice of material provides possibility of manufacture of sucker rods with small outer diameter and increase depth of pumping out by sucker-rod pumps, reduced load on drive mechanism and reduce its dimensions, weight and requirements to balancing device or dispense with said device at preservation of processing and operation advantages provided by use of metals instead of artificial and plastic materials.
