SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the field of devices used for small arms testing. Realization of the invention allows to increase operational qualities of the bullet catcher. The invention provides, that a case filled with water is installed on a movable frame at an angle of 20 °.. .30 ° to the floor. A cylindrical damper is mounted in a boring out of the upper flange of the case and the damper central hole is shut by a demountable plug made out of an easy-break- through stuff.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase operational qualities of the bullet catcher.
