FIELD: electrical engineering; evaluating actual contribution of power suppliers and users in electrical energy quality indices.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes evaluation of electrical energy quality indices such as coefficient of nth harmonic component of voltage and coefficients of reverse- and zero-sequence voltage unbalance. These parameters are measured at power grid point or node common for power suppliers and users at viewing interval (averaging) of these parameters. All loads connected to common point are divided at each viewing interval into distortion sources and receptors. Active nth harmonic current component generated by ith source of distortion Ia(EQI)Sk) < 0 for distortion sources. Actual contribution is proposed to be assumed proportional to projection of distortion source onto total current of all distortion sources. This method is designed for unlimited application.
