SUBSTANCE: unified vessel power generating plant contains main, primary, thermal engines, electric generators, circuit breakers, voltage inverters with storage capacitors, a matching electrical converter, energy storage units and propulsion motors, a control system of the unified power generating plant, matching transformer, secondary power board, emergency (harbour) diesel-generators and auxiliary consumers. The control system of the unified power generating plant manages the operation of the primary thermal engines, electric generators, voltage inverters, matching electrical converter, energy storage unit and emergency (harbour) diesel-generator. All the power consumers are supplied by DC link global buses, which are connected to an intermediate energy storage unit through a matching electrical converter.
