FIELD: waterstop material covered fibers for fiber-optic cables.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fiber includes water-free dispersion incorporating polymer of superhigh absorption ability and dispersion medium. Fibers produced by proposed technology can be used, for instance, as fibrous reinforcing materials for optical fibers of cables including fiber-optic ones for optical communications.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture of water-free heat-resistant substrate.
