FIELD: radio engineering; radio communications, television, and the like to receive signals in very high and ultrahigh frequency bands.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is used for transmitting high-frequency signals from transmitting station to terminal user within desired frequency band and for ensuring sufficient power of signal received and reduced power loss of this signal on its way from transmitting station to terminal user. Method includes following procedures: signal picked off antenna of broadcast station is conveyed at a time to dipole of low-frequency antenna and to that of at least one high-frequency antenna; emf induced in low-frequency antenna dipole is transferred to receiver and emf induced in high-frequency antenna dipole is conveyed to at least one radiator, the latter being so disposed relative to low-frequency antenna that electromagnetic waves excited by radiator under impact of high-frequency current induced in high-frequency antenna dipole is fully absorbed by low-frequency antenna dipole causing high-frequency current on its surface; this current and emf induced in low-frequency antenna dipole are passed to receiver. Proposed combined multiband antenna has low-frequency dipole, at least one high-frequency dipole of smaller size, and also at least one electromagnetic energy radiator.
EFFECT: facilitated procedure, simplified design, reduced power loss.
