FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and is used for signal transmission/reception systems applying multiple transceivers operating at different frequency bands. The result is achieved by the proposed multiband circular directivity antenna system with vertical wave polarisation consisting of N wave vibrators, wherein N is the number of frequency bands placed one over the other on a support tube made of a dielectric material, wherein N coaxial feeder lines pass inside said tube for connecting one vibrator to the transmission/reception path of a radio signal of the corresponding frequency band; according to the invention, each feeder line is connected to the vibrator via a balancing and matching apparatus constituting a U-bend in the form of a half-wave loop — a segment of a coaxial cable, coiled into a spiral and placed between the arms of the vibrator, coupling the symmetrical wave vibrator with the non-symmetrical coaxial feeder line by inverting the signal phase and matching the input resistance of the vibrator with the wave resistance of the line.
EFFECT: higher antenna gain coefficient.
