FIELD: agricultural production, in particular, animal farming.
SUBSTANCE: trap is equipped with light source having parabolic reflector and vessel comprising insect attracting substance. Vessel is equipped with rotary drum covered with hydrophobic material. Drum is continuously wetted with said substance to provide for optimal concentration of fragrant substance in environmental air.
EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced operation costs per day owing to combined usage of two method of attracting insects into trap, that is, light flux and odor of liquid attracting substances.
