FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to means for destruction of harmful insects. The trap includes a housing, a current-producing agent, a light source, a container for attracting agents, a rotating cylindrical drum covered with a hydrophobic material, installed above the container at a height that makes it possible to wet the lower part of the drum with an attracting substance, while the container has dampers that regulate the degree of wetting of the drum and cleaning it from insects, and in the body of the trap a reflector with the shape of a parabola is installed with the possibility of rotation in a vertical plane, in the focus of which a light source is placed. The main bag for collecting insects shocked with electricity is attached to the lower part of the case, where in the upper central part of the case above the current-carrying agent and above the level of the light source, a suction fan without lathing is installed, while the traps of the surfaces of the lower part of the fan case and its blades directed inward are made in form of mirror surfaces, and a flexible pipe is attached to the upper part of the fan to its outlet, to which an additional bag for collecting insects is attached in the lower part of the case.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and performance of the trap.
