FILTER FOR CLEANING WATER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning portable water; filtration of water through adsorption bactericidal material.

SUBSTANCE: proposed filter has housing with base and cover; expiration of filter module service life is indicator on filter cover; filter is also provided with purified water discharge pipe union, purified water discharge pipe line, end-piece, initial water supply pipe line, connecting unit, filter module with inlet and outlet; each of them is provided with sealing rings; housing is provided with initial water supply pipe union, bush for securing the branch pipe on pipe union, bush for securing the branch pipe on cock connection unit including nut, body, aerator and adapter. Filter module has housing with base and cover, screen and unit for smooth distribution of water to be cleaned. Cleaning unit consists of two groups of layers of dense material with groups of layers of sorbing elements between them. Cleaning unit is made in form of sleeve with bead and holes in upper part of sleeve lateral surface; cylinder mounted in sleeve is closed with cover which has escape hole in the center and is which is connected with outlet of filtering unit through branch pipe; between sleeve and housing of filter module there is mixture of sorbing element. Units for smooth distribution of water to be cleaned are made in form of perorated disk on which radial stiffeners are provided on one side and axial guide mounted on other side is made in form of tetrahedron.

EFFECT: improved quality of cleaned water; enhanced flexibility of cleaning.
