FIELD: purification of potable water.

SUBSTANCE: proposed unit has filtering module with pipe unions for delivery of water to be cleaned and discharge of cleaned water, water source, throttle valve for control of water pressure, pipe lines for delivery of water to be cleaned and discharge of cleaned water and cleaned water discharge cock which is connected with cleaned water discharge unit. Filtering module has housing and cover where purification unit is mounted. Inner surface of cover is made in form of dome. Purification unit is made in form of first filtering washer, inlet pack of "FIBAN-K5" material, mixture of activated carbon NORIT and activated carbon 607C, second filtering washer, outlet pack of "FIBAN-K5" material and perforated retainer.

EFFECT: increased service life and enhanced reliability.
