FILTERING MODULE AND LIQUID CLEANING FILTER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning liquids, mainly drinking water. SUBSTANCE: filtering module includes housing with cover, liquid supply branch pipe and cleaned liquid discharge branch pipe mounted on base of housing and filter material located in housing. Liquid supply branch pipe is mounted coaxially relative to housing; it is conical in shape and consists of two parts: one part projects outside relative to base of housing and second part is located inside housing in such position that its length exceeds height of layer of filter material. Filter has housing with collector and liquid supply and discharge branch pipes, device for supply of liquid to be filtered from distributing main two filtering modules connected to collector for simultaneous parallel filtration of liquid; pipe unions are located in center portion on opposite sides of collector which includes round plate with fastenings; this plate has cylindrical projections located on opposite sides and used for securing the filtering modules.
