FIELD: devices for drying gas.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes compression of gas to be dried in compressor, cooling in first regenerator and expansion in turbo-expander; part of dried gas after turbo-expander (40-50%) is directed to consumer and remaining part (50-60%) after passage through second regenerator is first subjected to separation and then is directed to consumer. Device proposed for realization of this method has motor, compressor, turbo-expander and two regenerators operating in turn; regenerators are provided with two valve chests each; pipe cut into closed loop "turbo-expander-second valve chest" is used for taking dried gas and separator is mounted at outlet of gas after first valve chest.
EFFECT: reduction of power requirements.
