FIELD: varnish-and-paint industry.
SUBSTANCE: titanium dioxide particles are speeded up in rapid gas flow and then transferred into moving fluidized bed of dispersed material, thereupon particles are modified in intensively bubbled thin layer of titanium dioxide suspension, where multiplayer modifying films are applied. Gas dispersion is created in two steps: titanium dioxide particles are first speeded up in gas flow with hot air intake 0.5 to 2.0 m3 per 1 kg titanium dioxide simultaneously using ultraviolet irradiation, after which gas dispersion is transformed into displacing fluidized bed wherein highly dispersed titanium dioxide bed is maintained with moistened high air (0.2-0.8 m3/kg) at 300оС. Gas dispersion is then treated with air mix containing surfactant vapors at temperature below 150оС. Modification is carried out by intensively bubbling thin layer of titanium dioxide suspension by forming layered coating in at least three steps under ultraviolet irradiation.
EFFECT: enabled manufacture of essentially chlorine-free high-quality produce, suppressed photochemical activity and lipophilic properties of surface, and improved manufacture technology.
