FIELD: industrial organic synthesis.
SUBSTANCE: propylene, ammonia, and oxygen are fed into reaction zone containing fluidized catalyst bed to form reactor stream containing crude acrylonitrile, which is introduced into quenching column wherein stream comes into contact with first aqueous stream to cool reactor stream. Cooled stream is then introduced into absorption column wherein it comes into contact with second aqueous stream (injected into column through liquid-spray nozzles) to separate and remove crude acrylonitrile in the form of bottom stream. The latter is transferred to recuperation and purification stage wherein acrylonitrile is recuperated and purified.
EFFECT: essentially fully eliminated problem of clogging of absorption column by polymer.
