SUBSTANCE: retort-free endothermic gas generator has shaft furnace with working space filled with catalyst, hermetically sealed cylindrical or rectangular housing lined with refractory and heat-insulating materials, tube-insert with heating members for supplying of heat to catalyst, refrigerator, gas-preparing system for preparing of air-gas mixture and supplying the same for conversion process, temperature control cabinet for controlling temperature of catalyst and atmosphere content controlling cabinet. Endothermic gas generator is free from metal retort.
EFFECT: improved technical and economic characteristics of endothermic gas generator owing to reduced dimensions of construction and reduced costs of refractory materials.
