FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water heaters with direct contact between smoke gases produced at combustion of gaseous fuel and water to be heated. According to invention, in contact water heater including housing with contact chamber, heated water collector in lower part and fire tube made of two shells to housing and connected at end faces by ring inserts, lower end of fire tube is provided with contraction, and water sprayers are installed directly under contraction, and screw partition is placed between shells, or flat vertical plates are mounted, being connected with upper and lower ring inserts to form zigzag channel to pass water. Invention is aimed at simplifying design of contact water heater.
EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of heater and its metal usage, increased intensity and improved reliability in operation, facilitated manufacturing.
