FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering immediately dealing with design of gas surface-contact boilers and is to be implemented to provide for water reheating in heat supply systems. The technical effect specified is due to the design solution being as follows. The proposed vertical water boiler of the surface-contact type contains a support-mounted heating surface and a contact heat utilisation chamber positioned over the heating surface. In the heating surface there is a water-cooled furnace chamber integrated that is coaxially arranged inside a vertically positioned cylindrical housing. At the top the chamber is limited by a conic-shaped lid with tubes of the convection gas tube bundle assembly welded into its surface arranged in concentric circles. At the bottom the furnace chamber devolves into a water-cooled ignition chamber accommodating BIG-1-1 type injection burners arranged radially and oriented towards each other.
EFFECT: generation of a uniform and symmetrical heated water temperature field within the whole of the heating surface cross-section without contact of the cold and the hot fluxes as well as efficient regulation of water heating temperature fuel expenditure.
