FIELD: hydroacoustics; search and detection of underwater objects in natural water basins.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes carrier of system, electric harmonic oscillation generator, sound wave hydroacoustic radiator, receiving hydroacoustic antenna, multi-channel signal processing unit, reference voltage generator, range gating unit, synchronization unit, channel switch, video amplifier, laser, cathode-ray tube with sweep units; hydrophones of receiving hydroacoustic antenna are made in form of fiber-optics interferometers and reference fiber coils are located one after another in vertical planes forming series of signal and reference coils lying in parallel horizontal planes at definite distance to each other; output of each interferometer is optically aligned with its photodetector whose output is connected to multi-channel signal processing unit and inputs of all interferometers are aligned through additional optical system with second output of laser; receiving hydroacoustic antenna is additionally provided with controllable pneumatic accumulator whose pneumatic outlets are mounted between series of signal and reference fiber coils in front of motion of hydroacoustic antenna.

EFFECT: possibility of operation of system in two modes: at search at wide directional pattern of hydrophones and study of underwater object at narrow directional pattern of hydrophones; possibility of obtaining clear-cut image of underwater object.
