FIELD: mobile communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is intended for controlling transmission power of plurality of user terminals by center B for broadcasting in mobile communication system incorporating center B and user's set designed for communicating with center B in cell occupied by this center B; the latter is designed for broadcasting common information to definite user's set among plurality of user's sets. Method includes reception of information about channel quality for each user's set from users' sets; increase or decrease of transmission power of center B in response to information about channel quality received by user's set. Device implementing this method uses common channels in mobile communication system supporting multimedia group/broadcast service.
