SUBSTANCE: proposed perforated cloth includes sheet provided with louver slots which are made in sheet whose thickness does not exceed 1 mm and width S is equal to 0.3-0.5 mm at pitch not exceeding thickness of sheet and angle of inclination α equal to 30-45 deg.; ratio of length L of slot to its width S ranges from 13 to 25; direction of louver channels to horizontal axis of coordinate is at angle β equal to 30-45 deg. and distance between louver channels of 1-2 mm. This cloth is designed for handling contaminated, coking and polymerizing media.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of mass exchange; extended range of steady operation; reduced heat transfer coefficient due to sooth distribution of gas phase.
