FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed boxcar has frame, lifting roof, end face walls with folding doors 4 and platforms 5 hinge secured on end faces of frame by means of brackets and locking lower part of doors in vertical position and furnished with rotary locking mechanisms. Each mechanism is formed by cross drive shaft 8 at ends of which rotary levers 9 are located inside door aperture. Said levers are hinge coupled with bent tie-rods 10 hinge connected with platform 10. with platform in vertical position hinge joints of tie -rods 10 are located higher than higher joints connecting platform and frame. To fix platform in said position, lever-and-traction hinge joints are made to pass through dead point when lifting the platform. Platforms are fixed in horizontal position by stops 11. Upper of doors is locked by end face flanges of roof. Tie-rod 13 connects roof lifting mechanism and rotary locking mechanism and automatically interlocks lifting of roof.
EFFECT: improved convenience in operation, provision of reliable locking.
