FIELD: auxiliary equipment for flying vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ventilation unit includes fan impeller with blades, hollow shaft of impeller mounted in bearings and shaft of fan drive which is connected with splined end of impeller shaft by its splined fork. Mounted in inner cavity of tail section of impeller shaft is bearing pin and bush embracing it; bush is slidable relative to pin. Thickness of wall of hollow shaft of impeller in section before splines ensures break of shaft in case of excessive torque. Pin and bush are rigidly connected with shaft on different sides from said section of shaft.
EFFECT: avoidance of damage to helicopter systems in case of breakage of fan; enhanced survivability of helicopter.
