FIELD: rocket engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed housing of solid propellant rocket engine has shell made of composite material and provided with inner coating, and metal bottom plates connected to shell by pin-stud and pin-bolt connection. Metal frames are installed inside shell. Inner cylindrical surface of frames is mated with bottom plates. Tooth is made on end face of frame mating with socket of end seal made on bottom plate. Frames are provided with shank arranged between shell and inner coating. Layer of rubber is placed between shank and shell. Frame is provided with bead. Plane of outer end face of bead coincides with plane of shell cut. Ring groove is made around tooth from side of this plane. Catch getting into material of inner coating is made on inner surface of shank.
EFFECT: improved accuracy characteristics and reliability of housing of solid-propellant rocket engine.
