FIELD: electrical engineering; automatic field regulators for synchronous generators.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes regulation of generator field by measured current values of active and reactive current components, generator voltage, field current, and generator voltage frequency deviation from desired value; evaluation of angle between rotor transverse axis and voltage vector across generator buses; calculation of deviation of Us variables from desired motion path of system given by equations S1= 0, S2= 0; calculation of Sa response of functional to changes in field voltage Uf; calculation of voltage applied to field winding from formula Uf = Ef ref + Uas, where Ef ref is voltage across generator field winding corresponding to rated field current; Uas = f(Sa) is output voltage of fuzzy controller. Newly introduced in device implementing this method are coordinate conversion unit, generator internal angle evaluation unit, generator internal voltage evaluation unit, generator internal angle derivative calculation unit, two shaping units, and exciter control signal calculation unit.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of power supply and generator field regulation in probable variation range of generator load current.
