FIELD: reverse-transfer control in mobile communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: upon receiving forward information incorporating instruction for changing reverse speed of data transfer over forward channel from base station mobile station enhances its reverse data transfer speed to that equal to or lower than maximal data transfer speed provided forward information has instruction for increasing reverse data transfer speed; then mobile station funds out if enhanced data transfer speed can be additionally increased for next frame and sends results of finding by means of information in the form of enhanced data transfer speed to base station.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of using backward communication line with added advantage of preventing overload in the latter.
