FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, vehicles for independent movement of disabled patients.
SUBSTANCE: invalid's wheel chair has seat and frame with two front wheels and two rear wheels. Wheels are mounted on pins. Seat includes flaps, backs, feet rests and elbow rests. One of front wheels is steering wheel and other front wheel is self-adjustable wheel. Invalid's wheel chair has drive made in the form of pulley with groove for belt. Pulley is connected by V-belt with rear drive wheel, has neck and crown and is mounted on pin, which is arranged on frame for changing of attachment place. Arm with handle is attached to pulley at outside thereof. Rocker arm barrier is connected to pulley neck. Rocker arm is pivotally attached with its middle portion through stop to frame. Lower part of rocker arm is pivotally connected to steering wheel carrier.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation.
