SEPARATOR FOR BULK MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for separation of bulk materials used in agriculture for cleaning of grain and grain processing products, in flour-milling industry, construction and chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: separator has feeding hopper, branch pipes for discharge of separated fractions, and sieving devices defining central zigzag-shaped channel. Sieving devices are made in the form of combs composed of set of fingers. Continuous tilt boards are arranged above sieving devices and baffles are positioned under sieving devices. Additional sieving devices are arranged laterally of central zigzag-shaped channel for defining two side zigzag-shaped channels extending in parallel with central channel. Branch pipes for discharge of small-sized fraction to lateral side are positioned behind each baffle of central zigzag-shaped channel. Fingers of combs are positioned for rotation around their axes irrespective of angle of rotation of adjacent fingers.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in cleaning of different cereal crop grain and reduced vertical dimensions of separator.
