FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: hydrophobic agent contains 10-50% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer in ethylbenzene or ethylbenzene fraction (50-90%). Hydrophobic reagent is composed of indicated hydrophobic agent dissolved in organic solvent.
EFFECT: extended resource of inexpensive and efficient hydrophobic agents with elevated adhesive properties, intensified oil recovery due to increased depth of penetration of agent into formation, simplified preparation of hydrophobic reagents, and increased efficiency of reagents.
