FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, mechanized sprinkler irrigation, may be used on wheel-mounted rollable pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: sprinkler is made sectional and is equipped with sprinkler heads, wheel-mounted supports, drive placed in the mid portion of central section, and section connection couplings. Each section is embraced with hub of wheel-mounted support and is defined by carrier carcass and water-supplying belt. Carrier carcass has pack of flat rings and C-shaped bent profiles joined with one another through short strips. Carrier carcass rings are arranged at ends of profiles and along their length. Water-supplying belt is mounted in resultant strip of carrier carcass and defined by pipes made from average pressure polyethylene of 4, 6 or 12 m length. Ends of water supplying belt pipes are connected through couplings with one another through sealing rings. Adjacent sections of carrier carcass are joined with one another through pairs of half-circles or parts thereof. Length of water-supplying belt in each section exceeds length of carrier carcass. Wide strips of C-shaped profiles of carrier carcass are provided with perforations, with perforation pitch being multiple nipple pitch for positioning sprinkler heads on water-supplying belts. Diameter of inner openings in flat rings of carrier carcass is less than outer diameter of section connecting couplings by 1.2-1.5 times. Coupling for connecting sections of water-supplying belt is composed of semi-couplings, each including flange and sleeve made as single part. Flange is provided with annular channel. Flange is equipped at its peripheral part with bores for receiving of attachment members. Outer surface of sleeve is equipped with threaded portion and inner surface is made in the form of flare. Half-couplings are mounted in opposite relation through sealing rings, which are arranged in flange channels. Flanges are tightened by means of fastening members. Each half-coupling is screwed with its threaded portion into cavity at end of water-supplying belt. Ends of pipes are embraced with rings.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and guaranteed service life of sprinkler.
