FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing catheter containing ultrasonic instrument, into a cavity and moving it through tubular body organ cavity. Processor connected to the catheter is programmed for building the first image of a number of images and the second image of a number of images from detected ultrasonic signals. The processor is also programmed for comparing the second image of a number of images to the first one or to a series of images, respectively. The processor is also programmed for stabilizing the second image relative to the first one and for limiting drift. To detect presence of cardiovascular periodicity, changes in time, vasomotor responses and to improve image quality, the processor is programmed for executing current control of the first and the second image. The processor is also capable of coordinating the first and the second series of images.
EFFECT: high information capacity of the images under vasomotor response control.
