FIELD: petrochemical process catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides hydrocarbon stock pyrolysis catalyst represented by cement structures MeO*nAl2O3, where Me denotes Ca, Mg, Sr, or their mixture and n = 1.0-6.0, and contains at least one modifying component selected from group I-IV A, D, and VI B subgroup metal oxides and, as strengthening additive, contains boron and/or fluorine oxide. On the whole, catalyst is composed of, wt % (as oxides): MeO oxide or their mixture 10-40, modifying component 0.1-10.0, boron and/or fluorine oxide 0.5-5.0, alumina the rest.
EFFECT: increased activity and selectivity of catalyst.
