FIELD: technological processes with use of ultrasonic oscillations.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of exciting oscillations in washing liquid with use of ultrasound irradiators for tearing off dirt from surface of wire or belt; exciting oscillations at one resonance frequency of cleaned piece of wire or belt; arranging ultrasound irradiators in such a way that to space them from cleaned piece of wire or belt by distance multiple to half of wave length of ultrasonic oscillations in liquid; using cleaned piece of wire or belt as member of resonance oscillation system and using oscillation frequency of cleaned piece as feedback driving signal. Apparatus for performing the method includes mechanism for tensioning wire or belt in the form of two supports, bath with washing liquid and oscillation exciters. The last are in the form of ultrasound irradiators mounted on walls or bottom of bath and spaced from cleaned piece of wire or belt by distance multiple to half of wave length of ultrasound oscillation in liquid and they are connected through signal generator with feedback circuit.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of cleaning wire or belt.
