FIELD: ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy; technological utilizations of ultrasonics.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy technological utilizations of ultrasonics, in particular, to cleanout from fatty and mechanical pollutions of a continuously moving band. In the method a band article is moving in front of a radiating surface of ultrasonic transformers, then on the surface of the treated article feed a liquid for washout. At that the wave motion of the stream of the liquid is in-phase with the frequency of the supersonic generator ensure through a manifold which has been executed in the form of a injector, the central axis of which in an operational state is directed tangentially to the surface of the treated article. Vector of the ultrasonic oscillations of the transformers is directed at an angle of 90°±45° to the central axis of the injector, and the space from the surface of the transformers up to the surface of the band article is multiply to a half of the wavelength of the ultrasonic oscillations to rinses. The device for realization of the method contains a bath with a liquid for washout. The ultrasonic transformers are fixed on the bed frame. At that the ultrasonic transformers are installed in the unified unit containing at least two transformers. At that the bed frame is equipped with the gear of moving perpendicularly to the surfaces of the band articles, and the space interval from the surfaces of the transformers to a surface of the band article is multiple to half of the wavelength of the ultrasonic oscillations in the liquid for washout. The liquid is fed through the manifold made in the form of an injector, the central axis of which in the operational mode the is directed tangentially to the surface of the treated article, the vector of the ultrasonic oscillations of the transformers is directed at an angle of 90°±45° to the central axis of gravity of the injector. The group of inventions ensures reduction of consumption of the power of the generator at maintenance of specific power of the ultrasonic transformer and also with improvement of the quality of the cleanout.
