FIELD: aeronautical engineering; crew rescue equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ejection seat has seat proper, head-rest with life-saving parachute, ejection gun, powder jet engine with two swivel nozzles and unit for change of its resultant thrust and automatic control units. Axes of turn of nozzles of powder jet engine lie in plane perpendicular to thrust vectors corresponding to average sub-range of pilot's mass forming angle "A" with perpendicular to plane of position of thrust for average sub-range of pilot's mass. At realization of maximum or minimum resultant thrust by turning the nozzles from position corresponding to average sub-range of mass, direction of resultant thrust is changed, thus excluding appearance of considerable torque dueing operation of powder jet engine.
EFFECT: reduction of disturbing torque from engine thrust.
