FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: polyimide copolymer is obtained (i) from isopropylidene-bis(4-phenyleneoxy-4-phthalic acid) dianhydride and 6-amino-2(p-aminophenyl)benzimidazole or (ii) from two types of tetracarboxylic acid dianhydrides consisted of isopropylidene-bis(4-phenyleneoxy-4-phthalic acid) dianhydride and 3,3',4,4'-benzophenonetetracarboxylic acid dianhydride plus 6-amino-2(p-aminophenyl)benzimidazole. Copolymers are prepared in polar solvent to form polyamidoacids, which are further subjected to dehydration cyclization. Invention allows preparation of polyimide copolymer capable of laminating metal foil to form metallic laminate. The latter shows high adhesion strength and meets requirements concerning tear and resistance to heat effect upon soldering.
EFFECT: improved consumer's properties of laminate.
