FIELD: aircraft engine manufacture; air starter control units.

SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes pneumatic valve and electromagnetic valve. Pneumatic valve is provided with shut-off cone with hole, stem connected with cone, cylinder made inside pneumatic valve and piston connected with stem and mounted in cylinder; it is divided into two cavities: under-piston cavity "for closing" and above-piston cavity "for opening". Electromagnetic valve has inlet cavity communicated with inlet of pneumatic valve, shut-off cavity communicated with cavity "for opening" and may be communicated with inlet cavity and nozzle cavity communicated with atmosphere; it may be communicated with shut-off cavity. Novelty of invention consists in availability of additional shut-off cavity in electromagnetic valve which is communicated with cavity "for closing" and may be communicated with inlet cavity and additional nozzle cavity which is communicated with atmosphere and may be communicated with additional shut-off cavity. Reliability of closing of pneumatic valve is enhanced due to closing of starter under action of spring and compressed air.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of closing of pneumatic valve.
