FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the aircraft engine building, in particular to the control over the compressed air flow shut-off regulating valve, supplied as the air-turbine starter working fluid, which is used for the aviation or ground equipment gas turbine engine starting. Proposed design of the shut-off regulating valve with full electric control is the rotary valve, in which the valve axis drive is performed by the electric mechanism with the multi-stage planetary reduction gear.
EFFECT: reduction in the starter weight, reduction in the production complexity and cost, increase in the air starter reliability due to the required air pressure at its inlet maintaining accuracy.
