FIELD: construction of fittings. SUBSTANCE: gate valve is made in the form of seat with cut-off element. It is positioned between inlet and outlet branch pipes. Cut-off element drive is made as a piston. Above- and under-piston spaces of drive are separated from inlet cavity by means of hydraulic resistances and coupled to outlet cavity through nozzles with flaps. Rods of flaps are actuated by lever made as a tube with longitudinal slots where cut-off element position indicator is placed. Cut-off element is spring-loaded inside yoke. The construction ensures reduction of power consumption. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and tightness of gate valve. 1 dwg
