FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary machines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary machines, mainly, compressors, and it can be used in internal combustion engines, refrigerating equipment, chemical and food industry. Proposed rotary compressor has driving and driven rotors installed in housing. Profiles of working surfaces of rotors have sections of epicycloids, elongated epicycloids and circumference. Invention contains equations of said curves in parametric type relative to axes X, Y in Cartesian coordinate system for rotors of different design versions.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of compressor by optimization of profiles of working surfaces.
