FIELD: delivery of compressed air in internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: compressor housing includes three hermetically separated units of central housing 1 and two parallel compressor chambers 2 and 4. Drive rotors 15 and 16 are provided with teeth and longitudinal slots in front of them in way of rotation. Driven rotors 17 and 18 are provided with recesses and respective longitudinal projections in front of them. Drive rotors 15 and 16 are sectional; they include rotor body and two floating teeth received by rotor slot. Profiles of teeth and recesses of rotors 15, 16, 17 and 18 are made according to empirical relationship. Surface of teeth of drive rotors 15 and 16 consists of three surfaces in parametric form relative to axes of rectangular coordinate system: epicycloid, circle, elongated epicycloid; surface of recesses of driven rotors 17 and 18 consists of three respective surfaces: elongated epicycloid, circle, epicycloid, thus providing for smooth rotation of rotors and increasing capacity of rotary compressor. EFFECT: smooth rotation of rotors; increased capacity of compressor; enhanced reliability and wear-resistance of engageable pairs of rotors; delivery of air without pulsations. 5 cl, 5 dwg
