FIELD: gas-turbine engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed flame tube has sections joined in tandem. Each section has perforated wall for feeding secondary air and finned waterwall. The latter is secured through its fins to inner side of wall to form interfin channels and has holes coaxial with those of wall. Sector recesses are provided in wall which abut against main holes for feeding secondary air to interfin channels. Slit of length equal to five or six heights of interfin channel and width equal to 0.2 - 0.3 of its length is made in waterwall clearance closest to main hole axis between fins on side of recesses. This through slit runs from rear edge of hole along air flow to rear butt end of waterwall.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of flame tube due to reduced temperature rise in stagnation zone.
