FIELD: grain processing industry; drying thermolabile products such as grain and germs of wheat flakes.

SUBSTANCE: proposed loose material drier has stepwise sectionalized chamber made in the form of alternating sections for drying in boiling bed and wetting-off; gas-dispensing screen for boiling section is installed for displacement in horizontal plane by means of rack-and-pinion gear; gas-dispensing screen of wetting-off section is made in the form of perforated band attached to turnbuckle on one end and to spring-loaded shaft of drum, on other end for winding the band on drum shaft and vertically moving the drum along sections-spacing guides with aid of crank gear. Proposed drier operates in oscillatory drying mode and provides for uniform loading of working space of drying chamber sections due to synchronous operation of gas-dispensing screens of boiling-bed drying and whetting-off sections.

EFFECT: enhanced stability of dried product quality.
