FIELD: underwater geo-acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: device has pendulum, optic-electronic pendulum oscillation sensor. Pendulum oscillation sensor is made in form of signal and supporting fiber coils, optically connected to source of coherent light and photo-receiver into interference meter. In case of appearance of tsunami in area of trigger location pendulum oscillates from balance position and hits signal coil. At output of interference meter signal is generated in this case, which is directed through amplifier and frequency meter onto alarm signaling means. Signal and support coils are placed in the body mounted on sea bottom. Source of coherent light and photo-receiver are placed on above-water control and registration center.
