FIELD: technical physics, possible utilization for measuring exact values influencing results of hydro-acoustic measurements.
SUBSTANCE: fiber-optic transformer of hydro-physical parameters of sea environment has two chambers (through and solid) wherein at known distance from each other hydro-acoustic emitters and receivers are positioned, and also amplifier and registration devices of hydro-physical parameters, made in form of frequency meter/period meter device and device for measuring current value, connected in parallel to output of amplifier. As receivers, fiber coils are utilized (object and supporting ones), optically synchronized to coherent light source and photo-receiver into interference meter. Chambers are connected by channel through gate, which is made remotely controllable. Emitters are connected in parallel to generator of pulses and harmonic oscillations through switch. Such realization allows serial measurement on one device of six-seven different hydro-physical parameters of sea environment: temperature, hydrostatic pressure, stream speed, sound speed, salt level of sea water, speed force of stream and overall density of environment.
EFFECT: expanded amount of measured parameters of sea environment by means of one fiber-optic transformer.
