FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed converter has switching transistor, transformer, control circuit, diode rectifier, and filter built of capacitor and choke coil; starting lead of transformer primary winding is connected to plus input terminal, its finishing lead, to switching transistor drain, source of this transistor being connected to minus input terminal; starting lead of transformer secondary winding is coupled through forward-connected diode rectifier with first terminal of filter capacitor and with plus output terminal, and its finishing lead is connected to starting lead of filter choke, second terminal of filter capacitor, and minus output terminal; in addition converter is provided with second choke and second diode rectifier; second choke is inserted in series into circuit of transformer primary and switching transistor on plus and minus input terminal ends and physically wound on same core as filter choke whose lead is connected to anode of second diode rectifier, and cathode of the latter is connected to first terminal of capacitor filter.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and stability of converter.
