METHOD FOR SOWING OF SOYA SEEDS INTO SOIL FOR ARID ZONE CONDITIONS OF LOWLAND NEAR CASPIAN SEA Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, sowing of farm crops.

SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting furrow in soil; sowing seeds into furrow; covering furrow so as to form trough-shaped hole above furrow; in early spring period, eliminating frost-resistant weeds by mellowing soil to 2-3 cm depth by moving harrows transverse to plowed field; prior to performing sowing operation, mechanically removing heat-loving weeds by moving tooth harrows in diagonal-cross directions; cutting furrows for seed sowing by rotavating channels inclined toward horizontal plane to 5-6 cm depth; laying soya seeds onto bottom of said channels and providing contacting with soil. Trough-shaped holes are formed above sown seeds by shifting soil layer in plane orthogonal to inclined channels. Trough-shaped hole cavities are filled with mellow soil preliminarily extracted from channels. Method allows yield to be increased by 12-21% as compared to basic technology.

EFFECT: simplified method and increased crop yield.
