FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: grain combine has inclined chamber and two threshing devices. Each threshing device has drum and deck. Beater with plates is arranged between threshing devices. Preliminary threshing device is arranged at outlet end of inclined chamber and is equipped with deck mounted on flexible suspensions. Gap between drum and deck, at grain heap inlet end and at grain heap outlet end, may be increased in the ratio of 1:3. Preliminary threshing drum has threshing members in the form of plates mounted on drum. Plates are extending on drum along helical lines in opposite directions from mid portion and in adjacent rows.
EFFECT: reduced damage to grain during threshing process and increased efficiency of grain combine.
